A little bit more about me!

Hi there,

I thought I would share a little bit more about me.
I cannot say I am vegetarian, because well...I am not. But when people ask me I just simplify things and say I am vegetarian.

Here is the true, I hate red meat, and this comes from childhood.
Chicken is also something that I rather say I do not like, just because it is so complicated to explains. I like chicken cook in certain ways.
- Roasted, but only if there is a lot of flavor - i.e. marinated.
- Deep fried, who does not like deep fried chicken.
- Pan fried, but i has to be burn - literally. While most people like moist chicken I like burn dry chicken - don't judge
- Smoked, I just discover that. My fiancé loves meat, and loves smoking it. The other day he smoked chicken. While it sat on the fridge for awhile, when I finally decided to try it I could not get enough.

I hate turkey though. It does not matter how you cook. I just do not like. Yeah Thanksgiving is not a big hit for me.
I do not like pork(ie. pork chops, sirloin, etc.) but I love bacon, and ham (cold cut). Regular ham on the other hand, needs to be burn also.
From the cold cuts I also love salami, and turkey (only turkey meat I eat).

Anyways, I am weird I know. I would love to love meat, it is just not the case.
The problem of this in my diet is that a high protein diet is really good. But as you can see for the most part I like proteins that are not quite low in fat, and calories.
The good thing is that I am a step in the vegetarian world. I like (or should I say do not mind) tofu and TVP (texture vegetable protein), and I am looking forward to try Seitan and Tempeh.

Well that is it. I just wanted to share that with you, and alert you guys that you will see a lot of vegetarian like recipes and tip.
Do not expect to find a  steak recipe here. I got goose bumps just to think about it. Sorry!
