What is next?

So after I finish the 30 day bodyrock challenge this Sunday I asked myself : Now what? What should I done next?
I was very happy and please with bodyrock, but at the same time I want more (I will probably write a post about my experience with bodyrock, so I will not go into details now).

I decided to try insanity. I always wanted to try this workout, so it was time to give it a shot. Specially now that I feel so confident after bodyrocking.
However, while I wait for my insanity DVD set. I decided I am going to hit the gym, and make my gym membership worthed.
For the next couple of weeks, I decided to go back to my cardio routine - crossramp, treadmill, and elliptical - and introduce more weight lifting.
Even though I felt good after bodyrock I also felt like I do need to gain more muscle. While bodyrocking I almost always opted for the easier, beginner version of the exercises.
I also figured out I cannot do more than 7 regular push ups - after that I will always ended up putting my knees down.
So before starting insanity I want to at least be able to do 20 regular push ups - without dropping my knees into the ground.
I might be wrong but I think I will probably get more out of the insanity program if I am somehow better prepare for it - even though they said that you will go from beginner to advanced in the 60 day program.

  1. Hi Bruna! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've heard lots of good things about Insanity, so hopefully it works well for you. In regard to your question about starting off running, here is the post that I wrote about it. It's more toward the bottom, but I have links for everything I used when I first started. Good luck!
